Application Procedures for Graduate Exchange Students

Loyola Campus


Applicants must submit the following requirements:

1.  Graduate Exchange Student Application Form; [PDF]  [Excel Format]   
2.  Letter of Nomination/Endorsement from the International Office of
    
applicant’s home institution;
3.  Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Degree) transcript of records bearing the original
    
signature of the School Registrar and school seal;  this transcript of records
     has to be authenticated by the Philippine Embassy in applicant’s home
    
country;    
4.  Certificate of Graduation/diploma (Bachelor’s Degree) with English
    
translation; this certificate/diploma must be authenticated by the Philippine
     Embassy in applicant’s home country;    
5.  Current Graduate transcript of records (Master’s Degree) bearing the
     original signature of the School Registrar and school seal; this transcript
     of records must have an English translation, when necessary; 
6. 
Photocopy of passport where name, photo, birth date and birthplace appear
7.  Certificate of TOEFL results with a score 550 or Certification of applicant’s
    
English proficiency issued by the home school;  
8.
  Housing Accommodation Form; [DOC]
9.  Arrival Pick-up Form; [DOC]
10.Graduate Student Information Sheet. This should be accomplished and
     saved as a .xls file;
11.Two pieces of 2 inch x 2 inch ID photos.

     If you are not under a student exchange program with Ateneo and will be
    
paying for your own tuition and fees, please submit the following additional
    
requirements:
     - Affidavit of Financial Support and proof of thereof (bank statement
       or certificate from bank) duly notarized by a public notarian in your
      
country with English translation when necessary. [Sample Affidavit]
 

     Original copies of the above forms must be sent by the International Office
    
of the applicant's home institution through post mail to the following

      The Arrival Form must be submitted by the student via email to
     
oir@admu.edu.ph at least one month before the start of classes.
      (i.e. May
for students enrolling in June, October for students enrolling in
     
November)

Academic Calendar

The Ateneo academic calendar is divided into two semester terms and one summer term:

  • 1st Semester: mid June - mid October
  • 2nd Semester: November - end of March
  • Summer term: Mid-April to end of May

Program Period

Exchange students have the option to stay for one or  two semesters.

Application Deadlines for School Year 2012/2013

  • 1st semester (June - October): February 15, 2012
  • 2nd semester (Nov.- March): July 15, 2012
