Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific
The Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific (JCAP) is one of the ten regional Jesuit Conferences that span the world. It is a Jesuit structure mandated by the 31st General Congregation and given juridical status in decree 21 of G.C.34.

It has developed out of the Bureau of Asian Affairs with the active encouragement of first Fr. Arrupe and now Fr. Kolvenbach.

Primarily a service agency, the Jesuit Conference aims to keep Jesuit in touch with each other across the region so that they can respond more quickly and more appropriately to the needs of other Jesuits, the Church, and the people of East Asia and Oceania.
