Auxiliary units are established by the Board of Trustees and follow the general University Policy. They operate with their own staff, some of whom may be drawn from the various schools or other units of the University.
Each auxiliary unit is headed by a Director appointed by the President for a term of three years, renewable for another three years. The Director is responsible to the President or any other official who may be designated by the President. If suitable, there should be a Policy Committee appointed by the President and advisory to the Director. A Chairman of this committee, other than the Director, shall be elected by and from the members of the Committee.
