Be a Child's Lens into the Future

One of the realization from the school profiling that ACED conducts is the reality that many of the public school children who are classified as poor learners or non-readers actually have poor eyesight.  It is for this reason that ACED has launched the Be a Child's Lens into the Future Project.

The project started in July 2009 and to date, there are 318 students who have been referred for consultation and diagnosed from the ten partner schools in Quezon City with 214 students who have received eye glasses.

ACED continues to help public school students to improve their eyesight for a brighter future.

- Tyron John G. Chiao, Grade 6, Pasong Tamo ES

- Florlyn C. Diego, Grade 2, Bagong Silangan ES
