BS Environmental Science

The BS Environmental Science (BS ES) program is a 5-year course which provides the holistic and interdisciplinary approach needed to meet the complex challenges of sustainable development in today’s world.  The solutions to these challenges require an understanding of the dynamics of the natural environment and human society.  As such, the BS ES curriculum integrates various principles derived from the natural sciences, the social sciences, law and management.

With its hands-on approach to the study of the environment, BS ES students are well prepared for various career options.  BS ES graduates hold important positions in industry, both local and international, as environmental managers and pollution control officers; in consulting firms as environmental scientists; in the academe as researchers and teachers; in legal practice as environmental lawyers; in medicine as environmental health and safety practitioners and in both government service and non-governmental organizations.
