The 5-year BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering program aims to train licensed engineers who have a competent grasp of both the science and technology of modern electronics and telecommunications. The student curriculum incorporates exposure to industry as well as on-the-job training that will enhance the student’s professional preparation.
The students participate in research projects that demand scientific rigor and technical skills be demonstrated within an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship. Our students’ exceptional abilities to communicate clearly with others, to think through difficult problems critically, and to solve problems and design creatively, make them globally competitive.
The interdisciplinary characteristics of our science-based program allow our graduates to enter a vast field of employment in electronics, computers, telecommunications, information technology, biomedical fields, and other related fields as designers, managers, researchers, and teachers.
