Who We Are
Formerly the Human Resources Center (HRC), the Ateneo Center for Organization, Research and Development (CORD) was established in 1974 by the Department of Psychology as a manifestation of a felt responsibility to translate theoretical knowledge of human behavior into applicable tools for effective human resource development in organizations and communities.
It is the practical application arm of the Psychology Department in Industrial-Organizational (IO) and Social Psychology. As such, it is the venue where IO and Social Psychology faculty and graduate students apply their knowledge in the fields of training, organization development, social research and community action.
ATENEO CORD is a Center of Excellence in developing knowledge and building capability in people management towards effective and empowered individuals and organizations as part of Ateneo’s contribution to nation building.What We Do
We build knowledge in HR in the Philippines. We are the premier source of researches that help practitioners, managers, and organizations manage Filipino workers and organizations better.
We build capability of both HR professionals and line managers in strategic human resource management. Our training programs incorporate indigenous HR knowledge and use a learner-centered approach that allow hands-on training and back home application.
