Test Construction and Validation.
ACESS develops and validates selection instruments for the exclusive use of client organizations. For the Ateneo, these are the Ateneo College Entrance Test (ACET), Ateneo College of Law Aptitude Test (ACLAT), and Ateneo Professional Schools Aptitude Test (APSAT). The Management Aptitude Test Battery (MATB) which government supervisors and managers take to qualify for Career Executive Service eligibility is also a product of ACESS’s test development efforts. Clinical Diagnostics.
This is ACESS’s response to the need of medical practitioners, employers, and parents to understand and help children and adults experiencing adjustment problems at home, school, and work. The output is a holistic appraisal of the individual’s intellectual, emotional, and interpersonal functioning, accompanied by recommendations. Testing for Selection, Promotion, and Career Planning.
Using a battery of intelligence, personality, projective, and job satisfaction instruments, job candidates are assessed for managerial, supervisory, and clerical positions, as well as volunteer work. They may also be assessed to identify potentials for future movements within the organization. Assessment of Managerial Potentials.
ACESS uses in-house developed simulated exercises patterned after the Assessment Center technology to determine candidates’ strengths and weaknesses for targetted managerial positions. Depending on client needs, the assessment may employ these exercises alone or in tandem with psychological instruments. A feedback session with the client completes the service. Career Assessment and Counseling.
This service is for high school students preparing for college and professionals contemplating a career shift. ACESS’s package includes an evaluation of aptitudes, interests, and work preferences, and is capped by a one-on-one feedback session with the client.
